Carolyne Haycraft, a freelance director and educator, uses theatre and drama programs to promote progressive transformation in educational, community and recreational settings. Her directing credits include Shakespearean and contemporary productions and musicals with an emphasis on theatre for youth and social justice theatre. She is passionate about theatre, and believes that the involvement in theatrical productions and drama should be available to all persons and communities as a tool for greater understanding of self and others. Carolyne has worked for numerous organizations including Oregon Shakespeare Festival, Milwaukee Repertory Theatre, Bridgework Theatre and The Storybuilders in New York City.  Most recently she was the Education Coordinator for CTM, Madison Family Theatre. Prior to this she was the Director of University Theatre at UW-Rock County where she was nominated for a Teaching Excellence Award granted by the UW-Colleges.
