Adult Classes Introduction to Acting for Adults Direct the Stage  This new acting course is being offered by Direct the Stage and will give you the tools to act on and off the stage.  Explore the world of acting in a fun and safe environment using a variety of acting techniques. Here‚s your chance to have a great time learning about The Bard while studying the arts of acting and stage-combat. This full- day workshop will explore the Elizabethan World, introduce you to the history and life of Shakespeare, and give you the opportunity to bring some of his most famous works to life. Learn how to safely create a combat sequence and integrate it into a scene, and then perform it in an exciting presentation. Students can sign up for full or half day sessions. This three week  session provides workshops in voice, movement and dance, script and character analysis, as well as tips on how to audition and do cold readings. Please note there is a special parent orientation for first-time participants.
